Business Development Manager
Location: Walnut Creek, CA [Remote/Hybrid]
Compensation range: $110k - $180k [total compensation]

Your MissionAs a Business Development Manager, you will:
Own and manage a pipeline of new and existing accounts.
Drive new business by identifying, qualifying, and closing sales
opportunities.
Engage with technical teams to define project scope and sales
strategy.
Develop strong relationships with customers, partners, and industry
stakeholders.
Collaborate with engineering teams to customize solutions for
client needs.
Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and
networking functions.
Drive marketing efforts, working with stakeholders to create and
deliver compelling content.
Negotiate contracts, including MSAs, SLAs, and service
agreements.
What You Bring Technical Expertise - You have a background in
engineering, science, or technical sales.
Sales Acumen - Experience in technical B2B sales, business
development, or account management.
Consultative Approach - You understand complex customer problems
and position customized solutions.
Industry Knowledge - Experience selling into aerospace, automotive,
biotech, energy, or semiconductor industries.
Networking & Lead Gen - You know how to leverage LinkedIn,
conferences, and strategic partnerships.
Results-Oriented Mindset - You thrive in a goal-driven environment
and love driving customer and business success.
Bonus Skills Experience with test & measurement, automation,
LabVIEW, Python, or NI hardware.
Proven success selling engineering services or software
solutions.
Familiarity with contract negotiation and long sales cycles.
