Job Description:
The Senior Marketing Manager at Buyerlink plays a key role in
shaping and advancing communication and content strategies. This
role demands a proactive and independent thinker who can
collaborate effectively with senior leadership to develop strategic
communication plans that align with business objectives. As a
self-starter and strategist, the manager is essential for enhancing
the visibility and influence of Buyerlink and its partner entities,
including AutoWeb, across various media channels while supporting
revenue growth. The ideal candidate must possess a revenue-focused
mindset, ensuring that marketing efforts are closely aligned with
business growth targets.This is an in-person role at our office in
Walnut Creek, CA. We will not be accepting applications from people
located outside this area.Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Communication Planning: Collaborate closely with the
leadership team to devise and implement comprehensive
communications strategies that bolster Buyerlink's business
objectives and enhance the brand voice.
- Content Strategy Ownership: Ownership of Buyerlink's content
strategy, ensuring it fosters meaningful engagement with the target
audience.
- Media Relations: Cultivates and strengthens relationships with
print, broadcast media, and key influencers to boost the brand's
presence.
- Story Development: Identifies and actively promotes stories
about customers, partners, and corporate initiatives that highlight
Buyerlink's leadership and innovative edge in the market.
- Data-Driven Insights: Leverages data from Buyerlink's platform
to unearth and disseminate significant market trends and
insights.
- Internal Communications: Spearheads the creation of monthly
newsletters for Buyerlink's business partners, aligning content
with strategic business goals.
- Event and Campaign Management: Manages social campaigns,
explores thought leadership opportunities, executes on tradeshows
and industry event participation, and handles awards submissions to
solidify industry standing.Daily Activities: Engaging with
stakeholders across multiple departments, reporting to the Head of
Communications & PR, the Senior Marketing Manager ensures marketing
strategies are aligned with and augment the broader business
objectives. This includes managing branding initiatives, product
marketing, sales enablement, and the production of conference
materials.Core Duties:
- Content Creation: Generates and manages diverse content across
multiple channels, including blog posts, case studies, press
releases, social media updates, and more.
- Brand Consistency: Ensures all communications maintain a high
level of clarity, engagement, and consistency across all platforms,
reinforcing Buyerlink and AutoWeb's ethos, as part of the One
Planet Group.
- Collaboration: Works closely with the Design Team on various
projects and builds trusted relationships within the Leadership
Team to facilitate streamlined marketing support.
- Market Awareness: Stays attuned to industry trends to ensure
Buyerlink remains at the forefront of market developments.Skills &
Experience:
- Excellent organizational, time management, and analytical
skills.
- Proficient in communicating complex ideas effectively across
diverse audiences.
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in Digital Marketing,
Communications, or PR, preferably with experience in media
outreach.
- Familiarity with tools such as Figma, Slack, Canva, and Google
Workspace.
- A bachelor's degree in Communications or a related
