About the Role
Nuro is seeking an experienced and motivated professional with
exceptional financial and business acumen who can guide Nuro
through subsequent stages of growth, fundraising, and scaled
revenue.
About the Work
- This role will report directly to Nuro's President and will
lead the Strategic Finance team, a fast-paced, high-impact team
responsible for supporting Nuro's growth and financial health.

- Strategic Planning: Provide financial insights and strategic
recommendations to support long-term growth initiatives,
partnerships, and other business opportunities.
- Fundraising & Corp Dev: Support capital raising efforts by
preparing financial projections and investor presentations and
engaging with potential investors and stakeholders.
- Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A): Develop and
maintain financial models, forecasts, and budgets to guide
decision-making and ensure financial stability.
- Performance Monitoring: Analyze financial performance,
identifying trends, and providing actionable insights to improve
profitability and operational efficiency.
- Risk Management: Identify and manage financial risks, ensure
compliance with financial regulations, and implement internal
controls.
- Cost Management: Monitor and control expenditures to optimize
resource allocation and capital efficiency.
- Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with other
departments, such as engineering, strategy, and operations, to
align financial strategies with overall business
objectives.
- Reporting: Preparing regular financial reports and
presentations for the executive team, board of directors, and
investors to keep them informed of the company's financial status
and progress.
About You
- 8-10+ years of progressive corporate finance, corporate
development, or investment banking experience;
automotive/robotics/mobility experience is a plus. -
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a
related field; MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.
- Proven experience in leading and developing high-performing
finance teams, with strong leadership and interpersonal
skills.
- Expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, budgeting, and
investment analysis. Strong understanding of financial statements
and key performance indicators.
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically and provide
actionable insights to drive business growth and financial
performance.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the
ability to synthesize complex data and provide clear, actionable
recommendations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the
ability to effectively present financial information to executive
teams, board members, and external stakeholders.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with
the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight
deadlines.
- Demonstrated success driving process improvement and automation
in a finance function.
- Ability to build strong relationships and influence technical,
business, and operational decisions.
- A proactive, self-starter mindset with a passion for innovation
and a willingness to roll up your sleeves to get the job done.

At Nuro, your base pay is one part of your total compensation
package. For this position, the reasonably expected pay range is
between $183,825 and $275,975/year for the level at which this job
has been scoped. Your base pay will depend on several factors,
including your experience, qualifications, education, location, and
skills. In the event that you are considered for a different level,
a higher or lower pay range would apply. This position is also
eligible for an annual performance bonus, equity, and a competitive
benefits package.
